CentOS Linux


CentOS Linux is our favourite Linux distribution for our courses as it is very stable and exactly the same thing as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (which is the de-facto standard Linux distribution in businesses.) There is a new release of CentOS regularly and it's always painful to have to download a full DVD (4 Gigabytes) each time. We are providing Jigdo files for the latest CentOS Linux (64 bits.) Jigdo uses whatever files you have locally (e.g. a previous CentOS distribution, updates downloaded manually, etc.) and only downloads what is missing thereby greatly saving bandwidth. Have fun!
