Linux Training as from January 2009

Latest: The two training courses have been postponed by two weeks

I am happy to tell you we are organising our first two Linux training courses in the coming weeks. Linux Level 1 is aimed at beginners and will start on Tuesday 27 January 2009. Linux Level 2 is aimed at those having followed Linux Level 1 or for those having prior Linux experience and will start on Monday 16 February 2009.

Both courses will run over five days. Please note that the dates have been amended because of this year's public holidays.

I have designed both Linux courses to be pragmatic and practical-based. I hope that the two Linux courses will be of interest to you and to people working in your organisation. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need further information or clarification.

We are fully MQA approved.

By the way, there are 12 seats available for each course. First come, first served :-)

queries

Hello Sir.
Nice to hear knowledge7 is starting Linux Training.

I would love to start Linux Level 1 Training.
Problem: 5 x 6 hours

I think you intend to do a session of 6 hours per day. i.e If i come at the center after 6 hours of lecturing that I can go home.

can't we more flexible on it i.e 3 hours (with a break in between) per session?

About 5 days x 6 hours per day

Both training are intensive.

They start at the beginning of the week at 9:00 and run for five days for six hours per day i.e. 9:00 to 16:00 everyday (with 12:00 to 13:00 for lunch / relaxation / etc.) I believe that professional training requires immersion and this is what a number of IT managers have confirmed. I also believe that doing professional training after one day of "normal" work is not very effective as most people are tired (including the trainer...)

I understand that some people won't have "releases" but it is always tough to please everyone.
