New schedule for our Web Development with PHP and MySQL course

Since Knowledge Seven was created, our training courses have always been run over five full consecutive days (Monday to Friday.) The main reason being that I think that immersion is very important to properly acquire a new skill. It is also true that since the beginning, a number of employers have been telling me that sending their employees to us during five consecutive days is hard as, well, they need them at work.

Consequently, I have decided to try a new schedule for our coming Web Development with PHP and MySQL course:

In essence, the course is going to run on five days (09:00 - 16:00) but spread over three weeks instead of being consecutive:

  • Monday 17 August
  • Tuesday 18 August
  • Tuesday 25 August (Monday is a public holiday)
  • Monday 31 August
  • Tuesday 1 September

Hopefully, this will allow people to breathe, better assimilate the content and have more time to practice. Naturally, the course is still MQA-approved as the duration and the content remain the same.

Tell me what you think. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further information.

Hi Me Meetoo,

I work 5 days a week in a payroll company and cannot afford to have week days as off days for courses. Are you not able to spread the course on weekends only?
Also do you provide courses on web design also?

Thanks very much.

Timetable and Web Design

Dear Mr Rawjee,

I'm afraid that we cannot offer courses during the week-end only because, well, it defeats the purpose of the course being MQA-approved in the first place. According to my understanding, a course is MQA-approved so that companies who send us trainees can get rebates from the HRDC (in a certain way, to compensate for the trainees' absence.)

Try to see if it is possible for you to get two days of release per week. I am sure that many HR managers will feel comfortable with that.

We do not offer courses on web design as such. We focus on web development courses (PHP/MySQL and Java Enterprise.)
